Dear Piroon and Jit,
thank you so much for taking care of us! Travelling through Thailand in October 2014 we decided to go on a trekking tour in the north. We wanted to get in touch with nature's beauty and stay away from any elephant riding. We contacted Piroon and Jit very spontaneously. They even managed our accommodation in chiang mai and picked us up from the bus terminal the next day. We felt in good hands from the very beginning - thank you so much!
The 3-day-tour itself was amazing! We were a group of six people and had a blast together. Piroon told us a lot on our way through the jungle and we felt very welcome in the villages we stayed overnight. I was quite concerned of this part of the tour, since I did not want to end up in one of those tours where villagers are treated like animals in a zoo. But there was no reason to worry! Piroon seemed to be part of the village and we were welcomed as friends.
We did not really have any expectations about the food on the trek - but in the end it seemed to be the culinary highlight of our whole month in thailand. Piroon is a first-class chef and we also owe him our first maggot taste experience!

Da wir nur kurz in Chiang Mai waren und daher keine 3-Tages-Tour machen konnten, haben wir spontan bei Piroon angerufen und nach einer 1-Tages-Tour gefragt. Da er uns nicht kannte hat er uns mit seiner Frau im Guesthouse besucht und erst mal "beschnuppert". Wir haben offensichtlich bestanden und es ging gleich am nächsten Tag los.
Wir haben einen Teil der 3-Tages-Tour absolviert mit allerdings einer Variante als Rückweg zum Auto. Früh ging es mit dem Auto ins Gebirge nördlich von CM. Die Tour war absolut gigantisch, wir hatten von oben phantastische Ausblicke in die Täler, sahen Tiere und Pflanzen, wir sind durch die Dörfer in en Tälern gewandert und durch Reisfelder, am Endpunkt hat uns seine Frau mit dem Auto abgeholt und wieder ins Gh. gebracht.
Ein unvergesslicher Tag!

Hello Jit, hello Piroon,
it is already two months ago but we still think a lot of our great trekking tour with you through the jungle of Chiang Mai.
We loved it!
When I read the comments of the other guests what can I add?
The tour was the highlight of our Thailand holidays:
adventure, jungle, beautiful landscape, interesting insights in the living of the Karen people, great hospitality, very good food, a lot of fun with Piroon, singing, rafting, elephant riding and everything very authentic away from tourism.
We did the 3-day-tour with 5 adults and 4 children (age 9 to 15) and can really recommend it to families with children since it was for us all an unforgettable experience.
Thank you, Piroon and Jit, for everything!

What else we could say, that isn´t said?
If you worry about the price - the tour is worth every baht!
If you worry about the food - as you can read, piroon is a fantastic cook!
If you worry about big spiders - well, you might see some, but from the distance. So don´t worry!
Organisation is perfekt - even the flight after the trekking tour was organized by Jit while we were walking through the Jungle!
We especially recommend the tour during raining time - it was only raining at night! You might need good shoes, but the nature is fantastic, everything is green and as in all thailand, there are less tourists and better prices in chiang mai.
All in all, trekking with piroon was one of our absolute highlights in our holiday!

Es ist schon 9 Monate her, dennoch erinnere ich mich sehr gerne und oft an meinen 6-tägigen Aufenthalt in Chiang Mai und besonders an die dreitägige Trekking Tour mit Piroon. Für ein positives Feedback und eine Empfehlung ist es denke ich nie zu spät. :)
Gemeinsam mit Prioon und 10 weiteren Abenteurern hatte ich eine wunderschöne, erlebnisreiche und unvergessliche Zeit im thailändischen Dschungel nahe Chiang Mai, es war eine schöne und vor allem nicht-touristische Route. Piroon ist ein wundervoller und erfahrender Guide und versucht seiner Truppe das bestmögliche Reiseerlebnis zu bieten. Er ist freundlich, hilfsbereit, vertraut mit Tier- und Pflanzenwelt, ein super Koch und leidenschaftlicher Gitarrenspieler.
Meine persönlichen Highlights waren das Elefantenreiten, Bamboo-Rafting und die Abende in den traditionellen "Hill-Tribe-Villages", bei Lagerfeuer, Gitarrenspiel und Gesang... für mich unvergessliche Momente!
Exotische Tiere wird man in den drei Tagen nicht zwangsläufig sehen, hier hatte ich persönlich eine etwas falsche Vorstellung, dies ist aber auch das einzige was ich mir zusätzlich gewünscht hätte. :)
Piroon's Frau Jit ist nicht weniger liebenswert und hat sich im Vorfeld um alles Organisatorische gekümmert und mich bei Hotelbuchungen etc. unterstützt wo sie konnte. Die Kommunikation per Mail hätte nicht besser sein können. Ich kann die Tour mit Piroon und Jit uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würde die Tour auch jederzeit wiederholen!
